Learning Collaboratives: ICUDDR offers free online courses for small groups, presented by expert consultants. Topics include new program and course development, getting papers published, using standardized curricula. We offer learning collaboratives on multiple topics and in several languages. Conferences: ICUDDR hosts an annual conference bringing together people from around the world to present on topical issues, meet on regional issues, and network.
Regional Meetings: ICUDDR has Coordinating Centers in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean; regional meetings are held annually either face to face or electronically.
Consultation
ICUDDR provides free consultation to Universities creating or improving drug demand reduction education programs. Some examples of what we have provided:
Curriculum development and/or sequencing of academic coursework related to undergraduate study programs, master’s programs, Ph.D. programs on alcohol and drug demand reduction.
Establishing practica and field experience coursework in addiction treatment and behavioral health services.
Specific topics related to addiction studies (co-occurring disorders, criminal justice interventions for persons who have substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders, diversion programs in the criminal justice system such as drug courts, screening and assessment for substance use disorders, mental disorders/co-occurring mental disorders, the neuroscience of addictions, for example).

Networking
Coordinating Centers: Coordinating centers provide regional representation and a local face for ICUDDR. They are responsible for facilitating regional activities such as conferences, learning collaboratives and webinars. In addition, regional coordinating centers can facilitate access to the Universal Treatment and Universal Prevention Curricula for Drug Demand Reduction and provide linkages for regional members who are seeking research partners or consultation for development of drug demand reduction education programming.

Forums: The Forums provide the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and generally discuss your work in training the workforce for alcohol and drug demand reduction. The Forums are hosted by
ISSUP
so if you have an existing username and password on their site, you may use it to log in here. Otherwise, create a login that you can use whenever you want to participate in a discussion. If you would like to create a new group, let us know and we will develop it for you!
